"MD Designs was able to take control of this game late thanks to a second half spurt (11 points) from Marquette’s Steve Novak, one of the more talked about players heading into the camp. Novak threw up a goose egg in the first half, rushing the few shots he was able to get off in the absence of screens being set for one of the nation’s top three-point shooters.
The book on Novak has already made its way to hard cover. He’s strictly a catch-and-shoot player. Players of his size (6-10) and ilk have managed to survive in the NBA on occasion. See Matt Bullard. Novak could stand to bulk up, and would have find the right situation to survive in the NBA."
