Jerel McNeal apparently was hurt in a practice on Friday and is in a splint. He is on the bench in street clothes and will not play tonight. A huge loss for Marquette tonight. Their best defensive player and second leading scorer.
No word if he is out for the Big East Tournament. ESPN is reporting the injury is a sprain and McNeal will meet with team doctors and trainers again on Sunday to determine his availability in the next week.
MU's road just got even tougher.
