Adam Zagoria has the latest on one of MU's key targets for the 2008 class. New Jersey's Quintrell Thomas, one of the the top power forwards in the 2008 class, continues to list Marquette as one of the programs he's interested in. Thomas, who recently completed an unofficial visit to Maryland, seems to have a strong interest in going to school away from home.
Thomas already sports offers from Maryland and Marquette (among others) as well as burgeoning interest from Kansas, Wake Forest, RU, SHU, WVU and Pitt. FWIW, his mother likes Wake Forest.
As we reported yesterday Josh Crittle, the top power forward in Chicago for the class of 2008, will visit MU this weekend. MU is the early favorite for the big fella with Kansas State, Indiana, Baylor and Iowa still in the mix.
With Crittle coming to campus soon, hopefully MU can secure a visit from Thomas later this summer. Landing one of either Josh Crittle or Quintrell Thomas seems like a near-must for MU.

Living in NC, Wake Forest is a pretty quiet little campus. However, hopefully Josh wants a more immersive atmosphere that Marquette would offer.
