According to Miller:
In addition to his stellar athleticism, Mason’s length and toughness on both ends of the floor are traits that impress collegiate recruiters. Mason is an outstanding shot blocker and rebounder, though he'll likely need to develop a perimeter shot while also continuing to improve his ball handling and moves to his right.Miller notes that Marquis Mason is the third player from the Wisconsin high school class of 2010 to receive an offer from MU, joining 6'11" Evan Anderson (Eau Claire North HS) and 6'6" SF Flavian Davis (Wisconsin Lutheran HS, Milwaukee).

Thanks for the plugs. Greatly appreciated. -- MM
ReplyDeleteLooks like Crean will look to roll the dice more on the youngsters as he fails to recruit the older talent.
ReplyDeleteUm, there's nothing wrong with a team that will have Tyshawn Taylor, Scott Christopherson, Nick Williams, Lazar Hayward and Trevor Mbakwe as notable upperclassmen, with a very good 2009 prospect in Erik Williams (ranked 4th in the loaded state of Texas) already on board.
