A few key items from around the Web regarding the MU coaching search:
- Rosiak blogged late last night, most of it revolving around Buzz Williams as well as the possible emerging candidacy of SIU's Chris Lowery. Rosiak also throws out two other names: UK assistant Tracy Webster, and current Baylor coach Scott Drew.
- Sean Miller is sticking with X, no surprise.
- Garry Howard of the Journal-Sentinel emerged from hibernation long enough to deliver a column designed to help repair Tom Crean's reputation with the MU fan base (or so it would appear).
- Tyshawn Taylor still wants out according to Zagoria.

That's the same Tracy Webster that played at Madison who did a pretty good job recruiting the Chicago area for the Illini before moving to Kentucky. It seems to me that Buzz would be just as good frankly.
If they are gonna go the assistant/recruiter route, just stick with Buzz. I don't see any advantage going outside if you are relegated to being a bottom-feeder at this point.
I would love Lowery. Plus, with every passing day, it seems apparent that we'll lose at least two recruits regardless, one of them being Taylor. If that's the case, get a proven winner here and bring in Lowery.
If we are going to lose the recruits anyway, can we get someone who can recruit a couple of big men?
I'm the biggest defender of TCs tenure, but obviously the inability to recruit big men has been his one weakness.
Let's get some odds going. My thoughts (which almost certainly are correct because I saw a rumor on the internet):
Drew 3:1
Williams 4:1
McKillop 8:1
Bennett 10:1
Miller 20:1
