By the way, Cadougan's Houston-area Marquette counterpart Erik Williams is playing at an extraordinary level so far this season. According to Jim Hicks at RCS Sports, Williams opened the season by scoring 33, 31, 28 and 33 points through the first four games. At 31.2 points per game, Williams led the Houston area in scoring through November 25. Thing is, he added to that lead the next night when he went for 34 points as Cypress Springs won 75-57 win over Spring. Following the game, the Spring coach said "We held him to 34. He obviously is a very talented kid.”
