In a (sadly) related development, Villanova crushed Marquette tonight 102-84. With the loss MU falls to 20-4 on the season and 9-2 in the BIG EAST.

McNeal is still the best player in the BE..Marquette is still in fine shape for the tourney.
Thanks for the class post while you were kicking our butts tonight! It may be that not many MU fans are up for reading posts tonight, but we appreciate it from a fan of the team that most resembles MU. Good luck the rest of the way (until you threaten to pass us in the tourney :-) )
