Saw this one and immediately recognized its significance.
Let's call it: "DJ's Last Shot"
DJ's shot was pure for 3.
50 seconds later, he left the game, ending his Warrior career.

"My rule was I wouldn't recruit a kid if he had grass in front of his house. That's not my world. My world was a cracked sidewalk."

We have to move on from this folks.....
ReplyDeleteLooks like MJ's last shot against Utah
ReplyDeletebring on St. John's
ReplyDeleteMove on indeed! If he'd have missed that shot during the course of a game, you'd have cursed him for his 3-pt jacking. He was a great player and we'll hopefully see him playing at the next level. Bigger fish to fry now that we're down to the short rows.
ReplyDeleteMan, you guys are sensitive.
ReplyDeleteI put up, what I think is an historic image, as an homage to DJ, one of the greatest PGs MU has ever had .. and you guys want me to move on?
Crimeny.
right. this is a fan site to celebrate the team. Great pic.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with Dominic blowing away the field in the voting for the Bob Cousy Award as well. Hey, there's time between games, whether its a strand on Wade last night or remembering DJ. We are focused on St. John's, but there's only so much that can be analyzed on the current team.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture Hilltopper, thanks for posting it. Very eerie and cool at the same time.
