I honestly don't think, even in the Wade era, that I have been more proud of being a Marquette alum/ fan. These guys were all class all the way through. Even in the toughest and heartbreaking of times they kept fighting. Just like they sang, "It's so hard to say goodbye." I'm glad that I was able to be there to witness and support this group.
Well said, Tom. I agree wholeheartedly. Is it possible they're under-appreciated? I believe they gave us everything they could and they're victims of fans wanting more, more, more. I'll take 4 consecutive years in the NCAAs. MU is not an elite program, and the Big Three are leaving it in better condition than they found it. Hopefully next year's class can boast the same progress on their Senior Night. Thanks, Guys!
